top o' the news - excerpt...
Jesus 2 was sent to the Earth as a Muslim terrorist and suicide bomber. He quickly rose to the top of the Al-Qaeda hierarchy until he was tea-bagging Osama bin-Laden. That was when Jesus 2 proposed his plan, which God had thought up. Random attacks of women of childbearing age. Wipe out the population, destroy the fertile, and the young, and then see what happens. Down with the Western world. Population Decimation.
By an administrative error Lt. Calley was in Heaven where he continued to massacre Vietnamese women and children. God struck up a friendship with that silly little child-killer and they debated what was going to happen on Earth. So the big G came down from Heaven and started plotting with terrorists so they could carry out God's sadistic plan. Jesus 2 choked a prostitute to death with her stockings Jack the Ripper-style and just laughed. He grabbed the corpse's tit and fondled it. Finally he was ready. Let the attacks begin he commanded. Everyone spoke Arabic and asked, in Arabic, what the fuck Christ had just said. But then the translator, a midget with elephantitis of the left nostril and right ear, explained Jesus 2's plan. Motherfuckers went nuts. Cell phones called sleeping cells. Secret messages went up on the net with instructions. Newspapers ran advertisement that were coded messages. It was one big conspiracy. If you looked hard enough you'd find Jack Ruby in there somewhere. Then the rash of shootings across the world.

I wrote my story, carefully edited it and rewrote it, all for your pleasure. And that's not good enough? You need more? An "explanation"? A "reason"? I'll give you one but fuck off for daring to ask.
The Chimeraworld 3 triptych is terrorism, misogyny, atheism (yes I know that is probably an incorrect use of the word triptych but I'm trying to impress you into reading my story). To me the most interesting element is atheism, for the simple reason that I am a writer and writers play God. I create little worlds and the characters in them and I do what I want to them, and when I stop writing they disappear into the void. I know very well what it is like to be God, I do it every time I write. I learned that from Philip K Dick who fucked with his characters and their worlds. I often wonder if in fact there is a god and it is PKD himself just playing a joke on us. Probably. That's why I read Philip K Dick, because his works contain the secrets of the universe, he drops little hints about our world, which he created. It took me years to realize I am just a figment of his imagination, that I, David L Tamarin, am little more than a Philip K. Dick character in a non-existent book.
I look at things from my point of view- someone says God and I think, there is no such thing. But what about the reverse? Are there people who don't believe in me? What if my characters decided not to believe in me? What would they do? Would I have to fear for my life? Would they come stalk me and prove their reality?
Will my creations rebel against me and kill their God? Writers who tap into this God-Power soon realize that their existence is contingent on the beliefs of the reader.
My story "Top O' the News" deals with some of these issues.
Misogyny- if God has the power to create, than God is Woman for she has the power to create life. So perhaps misogyny is just another way of hating God. For all that creation shit. Besides, she invented misogyny just like she invented everything else including crack cocaine and porno flicks.
Terrorism- the words of my story are the real terrorists.
I took these three things and threw them into a blender with a baby and some LSD and a piece of roadkill, mixed that shit the fuck up and out came, like a blast of vomit or Ebola-diarrhea, Top O' the News.
Read it, don't enjoy it.
