![]() 3d games industry...
I love working in the 3d games industry because it allows me (as a job) to think in 3d and find solutions to some really wacky character issues, like their structure and their animations. As you'll see from my previous choice of projects, I really like to work with teams who are keen to push the envelope in both PLAYABILITY and FUN; one thing that's sometimes seriously missing from today's photo-realistic narrative epics is this element of FUN. Look at all the great Nintendo games like Mario64, 1080, WaveRace and Pikmin - they are all dripping in both the FUN element but also the PLAYABILITY element.
Monday 10th October 2005, I started work at local Oxford company REBELLION (yes, those people who own the rights to all of the 2005AD comics - joy). Since I've been there I've converted the animations for the EA title "From Russia With Love" for the Sony PSP hand-held console and am currently working on character animation/conversion for the PSP version of GUN for Activision.
Ghost Master character images.
Ghost Master - kinky and quirky character animations from this well-loved title.
Rock Chick Racer - a quick series of action renders on a theme of girls 'n' bikes. Fun.
