the slaughtered paintings...
I had carted these massive life-size oil-on-battened-hardboard paintings around with me since 1985. They were an expression of a troubled youth and early adulthood. It dawned on me in 1995 that they had served their purpose, so one sunny May day, I took an axe to them .

1991 - Creation Press published THE SONGS OF GILLES DE RAIS graphic novel.
2002 - Online Gallery feautres at BRUTAL DREAMER and SHADOW OF THE MARQUIS.
2003 - a world-renowned online art venue THE HAMMOND GALLERY recently gathered a few of the more obscure artworks together in one place.
2005 - feature artist @ HAmmond Gallery, accompanying my editorial Beauty Is The Eye Of The Beholder, through Xmas to early 2006 - site now gone.
